Description
Heart and Solutions is a strength based mental health counseling agency serving Iowa individuals, couples, and families with our team of dedicated therapists and behavioral health intervention services providers. We serve the entire state of Iowa through telehealth services and physical offices located in Ames, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Grundy Center, Mason City, and Waterloo. We take most insurances and private pay. We are committed to being an LGBTQ-inclusive agency and have several providers who can work with LGBTQ clients and their families from ages 4 and up.
Services
Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS)
Behavioral Health Intervention services (BHIS) are available for children ages four to eighteen at the office, in school, and right in the comfort of your own home. We provide opportunities to practice and build social and emotional skills in the form of games, art activities, and service projects. Our BHIS counselors utilize the 7 Cs of Resilience to build these skills in the children we support. Telehealth counseling services are available for BHIS by phone or computer.

Therapy Services
Heart and Solutions team members offer mental health counseling to individual adults, children, couples, and families at our six office locations. We partner with community school locations to provide therapy services in the schools or through telehealth. Therapy at Heart and Solutions is, at its core, personal centered and strength based. Therapy is a safe space with a supportive counselor who is on your side and wants to support you in your individualized journey of healing and growth!
